Sharon N. Hughes 

Sharon works passionately to live her dreams. Whether it is developing strategic marketing plans and business ideas for fashion and lifestyle brands and working with youth in creative arts education. With over 20 years experience, Sharon began her career in retail management in the US with Limited Brands and later spent her formative years with retail giant, Macy’s before transitioning to the corporate world of marketing in event planning, promotions and creative management. It was in 2006 she turned her sights to London to obtain her Masters; after graduation she was hired as Marketing Director for a University owned digital media business incubator. It was at this time she gained a passion for creative industry and digital and was later published in Arts Professional magazine for her research in creative and cultural industries, ‘Catalysts for Regeneration’

After a stint with InStyle magazine UK, she began working for one of the most popular shoe companies in the Midwest, Lori's Shoes as Online Marketing Manager. It was during this time she was inspired to write and develop the Digital Marketing and Social Media for Fashion Business curriculum for London College of fashion short course department (the first course of its kind globally). She is still a frequent guest tutor/speaker in Digital Media strategies for fashion retailers; and Digital and Social Media Marketing in London, China and Dubai. 

Sharon has consulted and developed online marketing strategies for fashion and retail brands; is a Fashion Marketing Lecturer for London College of Fashion and the Founder of a budding creative arts education initiative. A wanderlust and Yogi, she is a supporter of the creative arts community and emerging businesses. A former blogger with Career Girl Daily; global public speaker, lecturer and coach.

Originally from Louisville, KY, she has lived in 4 countries and various cities in the US. Sharon is effortlessly leaving her mark around the globe.
